Once you have eradicated bed bugs with GreenTech Heat equipment, use GreenTech Prevent to create a residual barrier to continue killing bed bugs for up to a year after the heat treatment. Prevent can be sprayed on upholstered materials like couches and chairs, beds and bedding, carpets and other fabrics. This applied barrier can help prevent re-infestations which may be the result of a guest who happens to bring bed bugs into the treated location, or if an untreated adjoining unit allows for a migration between unit that are being treated.

GreenTech Prevent is bio-engineered to react as emulsifiers when either comes into contact with the chemistry of the bed bug’s outer waxy layer. In fact, is impossible that it not react. At the same time it is nontoxic to human beings and other mammals because they are not possessed of the same chemistry. The product is also odor free and hypoallergenic. When dry it may leave behind a very light dust visible on dark surfaces. This is easily wiped away with a cloth.

Although GreenTech Prevent is a powerful residual element that is residual barrier for 12 months from the date of application, its effectiveness depends heavily on its proper application. For this reason, this is a “partnership” that we share with you and together we know that you will achieve the same “breakthrough” results that others have already achieved.
GreenTech Prevent is nontoxic to all humans and their mammal pets. In some rare instances, some people may experience a mild drying of their skin when they come in contact with GreenTech Prevent. For this reason, we recommend that when you are preparing the product you follow the safety instructions, wear gloves and avoid direct contact.
Although nontoxic to humans and other mammals, GreenTech Prevent is deadly to bed bugs. When applied as a fan spray, where it comes in contact with the bed bug, it acts to “digest” its outer waxy layer. It kills what it contacts and therefore this part of the
process requires that bed bug infestations be exposed where ever they might be located in the target treatment area. This is the process that is said to “Eliminate” the bed bug. Remember that
GreenTech Prevent is designed to be used in close proximity to human habitation and is intended to be applied to textiles and fabrics. It is into the tiny air spaces in the textiles and fabrics that GreenTech Prevent upon drying will leave a residue that will continue to for 12 months from the date of application. The Guarantee does not provide that new bed bugs will not be reintroduced into the treated area. Thus proper application not only “Eliminates” any current infestation, but also provides the “Residual” effect.

Q: How does the GreenTech Prevent work?
A: When sprayed particles filled with the active are left behind. These particles become enmeshed in the fabrics in the area sprayed. When bed bugs crawl and disturb the particles, the active contained inside spills out. When the active come into contact with the torso of the bed bug it begins to emulsify its waxy outer layer. Once emulsified, the affected area evaporates and so does the less than eye dropper full of liquid inside the bed bug. The bed bug dies of dehydration.
